Key Achievements / Milestones | 1. Completed initiative meeting with partner and local staff from three Provincial Agriculture Offices & six District Agriculture Offices. 2. Completed Baseline survey for targeting villages and farmers’ selection as the project beneficiaries 3. Developed seven (07) water ponds in the drought areas and facilitated rice, sweetcorn, and vegetables seeds as well as facilitated greenhouse material, vegetable seed, and material for organic tank construction. 4. The average yield of paddy rice demonstration plot in project locations of three provinces has increased by 32%. 5. Organized the Training of Trainers (TOT for provincial and district staffs on soil, water and nutrient management on cropping system in the target project areas. |

Collected the climate-related natural disaster risks data 3. Developed climate-related disaster hazard zoning and warning maps 4. Enhanced the capacity of personnel in monitoring salinity intrusion 5. Developed early warning of salinity intrusion through 3 (three) installed salinity monitoring equipment to take timely response measures 6. Key Achievements / Milestones | 1. Conducted pilot studies in five Mekong countries on how the migrant workers use the ICTs to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. 2. Conducted two workshops with participants from Mekong countries to share lessons learnt and best practices from prevention and control measures of pandemic in Thailand using ICT with the speakers from Migrant Workers Rights Network (MWRN), Government Big Data Institute under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), Wisible (a patient information storage system with the capability of tracking the condition of patients’ health status), and Department of Disease Control (DDC), Ministry of Public Health. 3. Conducted workshop on ICT and Outbreak Management in Korea in collaboration with Seoul National University Asia Center (SNUAC) with the participants from five Mekong countries with the topic on “Governing the Migrants: Overview and Update Situation in Controlling and Managing the COVID Outbreak”. 4. Proposed Guidelines for ICT Management to Protect Migrant Workers during Health Crises in Mekong Countries 5. Proposed Mekong-ROK Training Curriculum on: (i) Pandemic management and health response, (ii) Migrant workers and safe migration, and (iii) ICT literacy and management 6. Conducted workshop to disseminate the guidelines and curriculum to a wider project stakeholder from public agencies, NGOs, and international organization. |
