The 9th Mekong-RoK Business Forum

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of government is crucial for the survival of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The facilitation needed to enhance overall business activities and the growth of MSMEs require an intricate inter-governmental framework, and the Mekong-ROK cooperation is one of those frameworks. Speaking at the 9th Mekong -Republic of Korea (RoK) Business Forum, Mr. Madhurjya Kumar Dutta, Director Trade and Investment Facilitation Department of Mekong Institute emphasized on seizing opportunities in the New Normal in order to drive recovery and resilience for MSMEs’ Linkages and outlined the role of Mekong-ROK Cooperation to achieve sustainable and inclusive development while adapting to the New Normal. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea in association with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cambodia and Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
