Mekong Institute Opens 36 Slots for Negotiation Skills Training

Mekong Institute (MI), with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, will conduct a training on “Enhancing Negotiation Skills of Mekong-Lancang Coordinating Agencies” on March 2 to 6, 2020 at the MI Residential Training Center in Khon Kaen, Thailand.

The training is open to 36 senior- and mid-level officials representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other line ministries or national agencies from Cambodia, P.R. China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Officials directly involved in negotiation areas under the Mekong-Lancang Framework are preferred. Selected training participants will be provided with one round trip airfare, accommodation, meals and a daily subsistence allowance during the training period. MI will also shoulder visa fees.

Interested applicants must submit the completed application form, CV and one passport copy by February 15, 2020 to Ms. Nopparuth Ruengrangskul (nopparuth@mekonginstitute.org) and Mr. Madhurjya Kumar Dutta (dutta@mekonginstitute.org) under the subject heading “(List Name of Country) Application for the Training on Enhancing Negotiation Skills of Mekong-Lancang Coordinating Agencies.”
