College of Asian Scholars' Visited MI, Feb 18, 2015

MI, KHON KAEN, 18 February 2015 – Thirty undergraduates who major in trade from the College of Asian Scholars along with their professor, Dr. Arthit Chutchaipolrut, visited Mekong Institute (MI) Residential Training Center to learn more about trade in the context of AEC.
Giving them a fresh glance at AEC, MI Director, Dr. Watcharas Leelawath stated that "Doors of opportunities will swing wide open after the community is integrated into the AEC…not only will it boost economy, but it will also increase competitiveness among the region." After Dr. Watcharas' presentation, Ms. Pornwilai Pumira, Associate Program Manager, explained MI's role in contributing to the economic cooperation and development in the GMS.
The students eagerly showed interest in the discussions and actively participated during the question and answer session. To conclude the visit, they were taken on a facility tour.
