Mekong Institute is pleased to announce a contest for its 15th Anniversary logo which will be used all throughout 2012 . The logo contest design winner will receive a prize of 10,000 Baht. Readmore >> Theme: 15 years of Developing Partnerships with the People of the Mekong The Mekong Institute is a unique institution that has been established by the 6 countries of the Greater Mekong Subregion to provide training to lift the skills and knowledge of key people in specific areas. By enhancing the capacity of people to understand and address key issues that affect the region it will lead to sustainable economic and social development, and promote regional cooperation and integration. The Institute has its own building at Khon Kaen and conducts training courses, research and consultancy in the areas of Trade and Investment, Rural Development and Labor Migration. Logo Design Guidelines: - Artwork must have two versions: color and black and white- The artwork should reflect the theme set by the Mekong Institute- Entries should be submitted in the following format: The logo in two versions: color and a black and white (no background images) Must contain the words Mekong Institute Must have the number 15 in it JPG or PNG format only Low resolution 72 dpi in RGB color Width and height no larger than 600x600 pixels Maximum file size is 1 MB Submissions: - Submissions must be received no later than November 30, 2011 - Please submit your logo design to [email protected] and include the following:Your JPG or PNG logo designs (Color and BW)Description of design and inspirationNameNationalityE-Mail AddressMailing AddressPhone Number- The designer may submit up to two pieces of artwork for consideration Selection Procedure: The contestant needs to be a citizen of a GMS Country (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Yunnan/Guangxi).All entries will be judged by the Mekong Institute 15th Anniversary Committee. The judgment criteria is based on 50% creativity and 50% clarity.The winner will be announced on the Mekong Institute website on Monday, 12th of December, 2011, wherein the winner will also be notified by email. The Mekong Institute will be the exclusive owner of the artwork after it is selected and will retain the right to use the artwork, whole or in part, at any point in 2012. Note: The final of artwork will need to be suitable for high-quality printing. The logo contest winner will be required to re-submit his/her logo in a scalable vector graphic format. Re-submission must be received within 7 (seven) days of notifications. The preferred file types for the winner re-submission formats can be any of these: EPS, TIF, AI or Adobe Illustrator version CS3 or lower. RGB color will be converted to CMYK.
