ASEAN Prize 2021

Administered by the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Prize is an annual regional premier award that recognises outstanding and inspiring achievements of individuals or organisations based in ASEAN who have significantly contributed to community building efforts. In 2021, MI was bestowed the award for its long-standing contribution in promoting prosperous sub-regional development and advancing regional integration and cooperation.

Supported by Temasek Foundation of Singapore and Yayasan Hasanah of Malaysia, MI, as the ASEAN Prize Recipient, received the prestigious trophy and monetary award of US$20,000.
