Regional Synthesis and Evaluation Workshop on Investment Opportunities in Lancang-Mekong Economic Zones and Country-Wise Action Plan Implementation

Mekong Institute (MI), in coordination with Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, will hold an online Synthesis and Evaluation Workshop on October 11 and 12, 2021, where MI participants will present results of their national workshops and action plan implementation.

The activity is part of the “Joint Development of Cross-Border Economic Zones in Lancang-Mekong Countries” project that is supported by the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund.

Exchange results, policy suggestions, and best practices to advance trade and cooperation in relation to economic zones

TARGET PARTICIPANTS

  1. Lancang-Mekong nationals who completed MI’s “Measures for Management and Promotion of Special Economic Zones” training in August 2020 and national workshops from September to October 2021
  2. Local government,  private sector, and civil society representatives, as well as investors interested in doing business in Lancang-Mekong economic zones
