Experts’ Consultation Workshop on Targeted Poverty Alleviation for Better Life in the Lancang-Mekong Region: Sharing Experiences
An online Experts’ Consultation Workshop for government officials and experts from Cambodia, P.R. China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand will be conducted on October 5, 2021, as part of the “Targeted Poverty Alleviation for Better Life in the Lancang-Mekong Region: Sharing Experiences” project.
Supported by the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the workshop is the first of a series of activities to source tested policies, strategies, and interventions that will help reduce vulnerabilities and bridge social divides amidst a global health crisis.
WORKSHOP Background
Mekong Institute will convene government leaders and experts to pool innovative and integrated structural approaches encompassing a "whole-of-society" approach to strengthen longer-term socioeconomic strategies in the subregion.
